Provides academic advising to undergraduate business students in the Fisher College of Business. Assists students in identifying academic and career goals commensurate with their aptitudes and interests; provides academic support services; teaches business survey course; participates in orientation activities; provides academic counseling for students interested in the field of business; assists advisees in selection of courses consistent with their developing goals and interests; monitors academic progress and advises on matters affecting progress; refers advisees to other University offices as appropriate; assists students in transfer process of degree candidacy; refers students to other degree granting units where and when appropriate; participates in college administrative committees and manages and provides guidance to student organizations. Occasional evenings and weekends required.
Master’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in academic advising at the college level; experience with computer productivity software, internet, and University Student Information System (SIS); knowledge of University procedures, resources and curriculum.
Target Salary: $19.23 - $21.63 Hourly
