This opening is for an energetic and highly-motivated full-time Research Assistant under the supervision of Kristen Mackiewicz Seghete, PhD, and Alice Graham, PhD. The incumbent will act as a study coordinator for an NIH-funded clinical trial of a mindfulness-based intervention with pregnant women that includes maternal and infant imaging.
The Research Assistant will oversee multiple aspects of the study, including: recruitment, screening, and scheduling; administrative and regulatory requirements; database management; and coordination/management of volunteers and students. The Research Assistant may also assist with study visits, including psychiatric interviewing, neuropsychological testing, and assisting with the acquisition of functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data. The Research Assistant will have general administrative responsibilities related to lab management and staff/student management. Research aims are subject to change and therefore priority in duties may change over times.
