The Senior HRIS Systems Analyst will be responsible for:
Researching and identifying system requirements. Creating functional specifications and developing application design. Creating and executing test plans and ensuring that the implemented solutions meet vendor requirements as well as internal solutions for Human Resources data management.
Acting as Project Lead responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation such as: project plans, minutes for circulation and review, records decisions and purposes, as well as agreements on distribution of responsibilities and timeliness.
Maintaining and overseeing PeopleSoft Security Roles, Permission lists, Security and Reporting trees and workflow. Works with ISD for business process re-engineering.
Developing and completing a variety of informational reports the hospital is required to furnish to various state, federal and health industry agencies using a variety of data management software programs.
Working with ISD, Payroll and Budget, among others, in order to maintain the HRIS and install changes, upgrades and new programs.
Creating and maintaining internal and external vendor databases.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and seven to ten years' experience.
The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of programming skills, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based cross‑functional knowledge.
Experience with PeopleSoft HR 9.2 strongly preferred
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, facilitating group information needs and translating those needs into specifications that outline data system requirements.
Familiarity with information system capabilities and trends, in particular local area networks and a working knowledge of the all PeopleSoft Modules including PeopleSoft security and trees.
Knowledge of PCs, operating systems (DOS/OS), back‑up, storage, windows applications, and the ability to troubleshoot PC problems.
The ability to train staff in how to use applications, modules or specific screens.
The knowledge to read and write SQL, Visual Basic, and PeopleCode.
