Under the general direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, the incumbent is responsible for budgeting, accounting and financial reporting for Student Affairs. The division?s annual operating budget is $220 million including approximately campus permanent, self-supporting revenue programs, extramural awards, and foundation endowment and non-endowment gifts. In collaboration with the Associate Vice Chancellor, responsible for the preparation, review and oversight of the Division?s annual and long-term operating budgets, overall accounting operations, financial management and financial reporting and analysis. Work closely with the Associate Vice Chancellor on strategy to achieve Division?s financial goals and objectives. Oversee regular reporting and operational activities of account managers. Provide analytical support and assistance with problem solving to the Associate Vice Chancellor and senior management. Perform analysis in coordination with central campus offices such as Academic Affairs, Accounting & Fiscal Services, Budget Office, Risk Management, Purchasing, and other related administrative units to resolve discrepancies and produce financial reports. Provides leadership, supervision, and training for Business Office staff.
