This position, co-supported by UKHC and the UK COP, will oversee experiential education for student pharmacists at UKHC's multiple training sites and support educational efforts within the UKHC's Pharmacy Department. Major job responsibilities include: Oversight of experiential pharmacy education at UKHC, oversight of pharmacy staff and resident education, engaging in professional self-development including scholarly and other professional activities, and enhancing quality in the delivery of care. Although formally housed within UKHC this position will have a dual reporting relationship between UKHC and the UK COP.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills; significant experience as a preceptor for student pharmacists and/or residents, experienced interpersonal skills specifically in team-building and conflict-resolution; oversight/experience with coordinating numerous training schedules at multiple sites; knowledge of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations; knowledge of clinical team structures and workflows; and knowledge of pharmacy and healthcare related regulations and standards.

PGY1 and/or PGY2 Residency in Med Safety, Administration, or equivalent experience.
