Advertised Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Academics and oversight provided by the Executive Director of Student Affairs and the Graduate Student Services Manager, provides related administrative, and program support activities.
Under supervision of Graduate Student Services Manager, provides academic advising for graduate students as assigned. Responsible for managing student records, student advising and registration processes, programs of study revisions, monitor degree progression, and assists with graduation certifications.
Manages student academic records from matriculation to graduation via College of Nursing and/or university databases.
Collaborates with the Office of Student Services team to support the execution of activities to include graduate nursing student information sessions, orientations, ceremonies and other CON events as needed. Assists with graduate student recruitment activities.
In consultation with the Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies and specialty Program Directors, provides oversight for MSN comprehensive examinations and doctoral examinations and defenses. Provides follow-up verification documents for all graduates.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 2 years related experience, or bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience.
