The individual in this position will serve as a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. This position will involve designing and carrying out experiments related to cardiovascular research including hypertension and heart failure by performing cardiovascular surgery in small animals, protein and nucleic acid analysis and immunohistochemistry analysis. The individual in this position will prepare manuscripts for publication and grant submissions.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
The applicant must have a Ph.D. with 3 or more years of cardiovascular research experience. Experience with small animal surgery models of diseases and complementary analyses experience.
