The function and purpose of the position will be primarily to assist in the coordination and implementation of clinical research according to good clinical practices and the goals of the PI. The coordinator will be responsible for enrolling patients in clinical studies and completing study visits, data entry, facilitating communication with clinical providers and clinic staff, working with Penn’s IRB to complete any regulatory requirements, and assisting other research staff with data collection and/or other projects such as literature reviews and chart reviews. The coordinator may be asked to assist in a clinical research project (patient visits and data entry) being conducted at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center.
