Reporting to the Intake and Accommodations Manager, the Testing Accommodations Manager will be responsible for the implementation of testing accommodations for all students registered with Student Access Services. This includes communicating with students and faculty to make all appropriate arrangements, maintaining academic integrity and exam security, proctoring and supervising all testing services. The Testing Accommodations Manager will also be responsible for maintaining all computer equipment and assistive technology utilized in the testing center.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: â€¢Receive and process sign up forms from students â€¢Communicate with faculty to make necessary arrangements for exams to be delivered and returned while maintaining security â€¢Insure that accommodations are provided consistently â€¢Support students effectively during testing sessions â€¢Coordinate student support staff as needed â€¢Provide advice, training and technical support to faculty and administrators related to the needs of students with disabilities â€¢Promote the application of Universal Design in all campus programs and services â€¢Contribute to office publications and web site â€¢Work collaboratively with other members of the university, serving as an advocate for issues regarding students with disabilities â€¢Keep current on new research and developments in disability services, including the legal aspects of this work â€¢Participate in work groups, prepare reports, and develop presentations, as needed â€¢Support the programming efforts of the university and of the Division of Student Affairs, including Family Weekend, Fall Open House, Orientation, Commencement, etc. â€¢Serve on divisional or university-wide committees, as needed â€¢Actively support and attend DSA and University-wide events â€¢ Mange and supervise student support staff â€¢Perform other duties as required
