The Office of Undergraduate Education at West Virginia University is seeking applications for the position of Project Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing assistance in the establishment, maintenance and growth of transfer credit equivalencies within WVU's Banner database.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Develop and maintain the curriculum sheets for WVU's 2+2, 3+2, and other such articulated programs.
Assist in the development of WVU's transfer credit database within Banner's SHATATR tables.
Evaluate and propose course equivalencies based on evaluation of peer institution's practices.
Maintain, monitor and track timely progress of course evaluations by faculty through an established workflow.
Support the operation of WVU's transfer credit database by providing primary data entry efforts of new and renewed equivalencies.
Assist in the maintenance of WVU's transient, study abroad, and Advanced Placement workflows.
Provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff and students.
Provide information regarding various university/college policies and procedures to faculty, staff and students.
Complete other duties as required.
Pay Grade: 14
One (1) year of experience in providing administrative support to a department or business preferred
One (1) year of experience in providing administrative support to a department in a higher education institution is preferred
Ability to use systems such as Banner, DataMiner and Oracle
Ability to learn scientific, technical or specialized terminology and information
