Provides support to one or more areas of the Registrarâ™s office including graduation application processing, commencement, student records, customer service initiatives, reporting, course scheduling and room usage, course registration, grading, and counseling of student in the enrollment process. Work hours: Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm or as work requirements indicate.
Responsibilities: 75% Coordinate building and maintenance of schedules which includes: Set a calendar of dates for distribution to department heads/deans/support staff for schedule prep for each semester to develop a calendar timeline. Notify departments when schedule is ready for building in CLSS. Assist departments with any questions or issues during schedule build. Provide training to departments for CLSS and schedule building. Assist Registrar in pushing course schedule from CLSS to banner. Complete reports after initial schedule build to clean up errors, missing information, adjust room assignments, fix course link errors, add/remove/edit instructors, etc. Add and remove course sections as needed/requested by departments following initial schedule build. Email list of classes to Fort Worth, Midlothian, Waco, and RELLIS for room assignments. Update online program codes. Email staff and faculty about setting maximum enrollments. Notify students, staff and faculty by email when schedules are available on Ducktrax.
10% Coordinate and manage room reservations for special and student events. Monitor daily AdAstra report distribution to appropriate individuals.
5% Coordinate with Enrollment Communications Specialist to update all website information pertaining to schedule area and room reservations.
5% Perform and provide back up support to other business processes in the Registrarâ™s Office as necessary.
5% Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years progressively responsible experience working with business information systems, records and customer service.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
