Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is currently seeking an enthusiastic research technician for an immediate full-time position. The technician will provide assistance to a Principal Investigator as well as perform a variety of basic research/laboratory tasks. He/she will record experiment results and will also be responsible for general laboratory organization and maintenance.
The successful candidate will organize the lab, maintain mouse colonies, genotype different transgenic mouse lines, and perform RNAscope on brain sections, and other histological studies.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in biology or related discipline.
Other Experience & Skills: Experience in a lab setting is preferred, in addition to animal handling. Strong background in molecular biology will be particularly considered.
