This position is in the Department of WashU IT - End User Services. This position is for the Danforth Campus.
Under direction of the Senior Director of End User Services, serves as the Danforth campus operator.� This is the highest call volume center in the University.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer incoming calls to main Danforth campus telephone number
Use reference material such as academic calendar, web pages and electronic communiqu�s and files to provide:
Faculty, staff and students telephone number information and transfer calls
Campus information when appropriate
Managing AT Conference call set
Area code and international country/city code information
Basic dialing instructions
Perform other office support duties as assigned, including, but not limited to:
High School, minimum 2 years of operator and/or receptionist experience.
Associate degree or business school certificate
5 years of experience as operator and/or receptionist
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Working knowledge of VOIP telephone
Ability to handle multiple and competing tasks
Work with minimal supervision
Applicant Special Instructions:
Must report to work at assigned start time and staff position during inclement weather.
Position may require alternative work schedules, repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement.
Base pay commensurate with experience.
