The Housing Communications Coordinator (HCC) manages all aspects of departmental communication for Residence Life and First Year Experience including summer communication to incoming students about both housing and orientation, website content and design management, social media marketing efforts, and all other communication messaging about RLFYE programs and services. Additionally, the HCC work closely with the Operations Team within RLFYE to support any other administrative process related to student booking, billing, and database management. The HCC will also serve as the primary backup for general departmental e-mail communication through the general departmental accounts.
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or related field.
Demonstrated work experience in marketing, communications, or related role.
Demonstrated record of successful work with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels both inside and outside the University. Strong interpersonal skills.
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize duties when faced with interruptions, distractions, and fluctuating workload.
Ability to exercise initiative and work independently.
Effective written and oral communication skills.

Previous marketing or communication experience in a college or university setting.
Knowledge of student development theory and issues relevant to higher education.
