The Coordinator for Residential Leadership Initiatives is a full-time staff member of University Housing who is responsible for the advisement of the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) at the professional staff level; assists with the coordination and overall execution of the following critical processes: IMPACT (Resident Mentor training), Resident Mentor Selection, and Resident Mentor Recognition efforts; serves as primary verifier of Beyond the Classroom Matters™ participation records for RHA/NRHH officers and Resident Mentors. Complementing the academic mission of the institution and the mission of the Residence Life unit of University Housing, the Coordinator for RLI will actively support students in their academic progress, active community engagement, academic progress, awareness of self, and awareness of their responsibilities to others. Position requires significant evening and weekend commitments. The position is a 12-month, live-off position without a meal plan benefit.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling or related field and 1-2 years of graduate and/or professional experience working in higher education. Valid Driver's License required.
