Advertised Job Summary:
The Coordinator of Residential Curricular Initiatives is responsible for coordinating University Housing's efforts to integrate students' curricular and co-curricular experience such that residential environments enhance the academic mission of the University of South Carolina. The Coordinator will collaborate with academic, department, and division colleagues to create in-hall curricular experiences specifically through the assistance in facilitation of the First-Year Interest Groups Program and Faculty Principal Linked Course Initiatives. The Coordinator of Residential Curricular Initiatives will supervise the Eastside Resident Mentor Staff (Fall semester only), which may range from 20-60 students depending on annual departmental needs. The Coordinator of Residential Curricular Initiatives is supervised by the Assistant Director of Residential Curricular Initiatives. The Assistant Director of Residential Curricular Initiatives is supervised by the Associate Director of Residence Life. This position has been designated as essential personnel during inclement/ hazardous weather and other emergencies.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree in student Personnel Services or related field and 1-2 years of graduate and/or professional experience working in higher education.
