The Operations Manager/Scientist will be responsible for oversight and management of the International Center for the Advancement of Translational Science research enterprise. The Operations Manager/Scientist will provide daily support to the Center Director and Assistant Director with the scientific and strategic management of the Center, and will oversee all administrative and regulatory requirements for the Center.
Education and Experience:
Essential qualifications and experience include: experience in Basic Science research with a track record of scientific innovation and/or leadership from diverse disciplines, as well as a demonstrated ability to develop and advance new concepts.
Preferred qualifications and experience include: graduate research experience including at least one year working in academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or vaccines industries in a position as the scientific project leader and manager of an advanced research program. Scientific productivity and experience with multi-investigator collaborations. Financial reporting experience. Documented evidence of grant writing and manuscript writing experience. Advanced proficiency with computers and software programs for database management, word processing, and graphics.
