Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Special Service & Grounds Worker-Housing for the Division of Institutional Planning and Operations.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Performs diversified maintenance and grounds duties involving the preparation of campus facilities and the maintenance of equipment and grounds in multipurpose areas of the University.
Operates power equipment and drives University vehicles.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Requires a valid driver's license and two years driving experience.
Will be required to successfully complete the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course.
Must be able to read and speak English commensurate with job duties and be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
One year experience in the landscaping industry with knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in grounds maintenance preferred.
Clean driving record.
