Based within the Office of the Bursar on Rowan University's main campus, this position serves as the primary point of contact for the Distributive Copier Program for Rowan University. The areas of the University covered by this program are the Glassboro main campus, Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (SOM) in Stratford, and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) in Camden. The Copier Support Clerk ensures smooth operation for the distributive copier program.
Manage paper and inventory for copier fleet of over 50 copiers across all Rowan University campuses
Service copiers and perform troubleshooting such as unjamming and cleaning rollers
Perform routine check-ins and follow ups with departments that contain a copier
Ensure good communication with the vendor of the copier machines and stay abreast of updates to software and copier functions
Place orders for copier paper and toner rollers as well as maintain a healthy inventory of these supplies
Supply each copier with paper by distributing paper to the department or area for which the copier is located
Maintain a log of service calls for copier issues
Must manage and maintain the e-mail account (email@example.com) as well as the main phone line for incoming calls regarding the distributive copier program
Provide training for new hires of departments that house a copier
Other duties as assigned (mail delivery, etc.)
Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Strong computer literacy, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
Self-starter and ability to prioritize tasks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Salary is prorated based on a 25-hour work week
