COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT 2 , Center for Transportation and Logistics , to support CTL's communications and marketing functions, including publicity, public relations, and marketing of special events, short courses, and graduate-level academic programs. Responsibilities include using Salesforce to maintain/update complex customer segments, ensuring that correct messages reach the correct target audience; maintaining the creation of new lab/individual websites; collaborating with internal teams to align messaging and promote content effectively; analyzing current email marketing campaigns; generating reports and documentation; contributing to content ideation and generation across all marketing platforms; maintaining contact databases; constructing and updating data-driven constituent profiles; organizing/managing files and multimedia assets; scheduling and setting up online recordings and webinars; and other activities as requested.
REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; at least five years' communications and/or administrative experience and at least three coordinating a stakeholder database, preferably in Salesforce; experience managing complex contact data in Excel using functions and formulas; experience creating and communicating email and web performance reports and maintaining website content using the Drupal and WordPress content management systems; proficiency with MS Office including PowerPoint and with Mac OS, Google Docs, and Dropbox file storage and sharing; willingness to learn new programs/techniques; attention to detail; and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be able to build complex list segments in MailChimp and deliver appropriate messages to those lists; write and edit website content; manage multiple email portfolios aimed at diverse audiences; prioritize multiple and varied tasks, follow through on work, and meet deadlines; work independently and as part of a team; interact effectively with a diverse group of people; and maintain confidentiality and safeguard data.
