POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE , Civil and Environmental Engineering , to assume a position in the area of materials modeling and simulation. Will contribute to the research efforts in MIT's Laboratory for Atomistic and Molecular Mechanics under the direction of Professor Markus Buehler. The project is specifically focused on molecular and coarse-grain modeling of hierarchical materials, machine learning and AI, and additive manufacturing. Material platforms include protein materials, nanomaterials, and hybrid constructs. REQUIRED : a Ph.D. in materials science, engineering mechanics, or related field; ability to manage projects and meet competing deadlines; excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; and proven ability to work both independently and in teams.
