The LCME coordinator oversees the vast coordination efforts required to ensure continuous quality improvement (CQ) of the medical school. This position reports to the Director of Program Evaluation/Assessment and supports efforts to monitor compliance with LCME Standards in preparation for the LCME visit in 2020-2021 and between accreditation cycles. The LCME coordinator provides administrative, logistical and technical support to those most directly involved in the CQI process. This would include providing day to day administrative services (such as scheduling meetings) but also continually monitoring standards to ensure AMS is meeting them in preparation for the 2020-2021 LCME visit and beyond. This position will also coordinate the pain management curriculum at AMS and the interprofessional education workshops.
Bachelorâ™s degree (Masterâ™s degree preferred) with a minimum of 3-5 years of related administrative experience required, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience in an academic or non-profit setting preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, administrative, and organization skills
Initiative and ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google platforms, Canvas (or learning management system equivalent)
