Job Description - The Administrative Assistant provides reception and administrative support for a very active academic department.Manages department workshops, seminars, and events.Support the department Academic Programs Manager with administrative tasks related to the graduate and undergraduate programs.
Qualifications - HS degree plus 3 to 5 years of related experience - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and FileMaker Pro - Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group and in a constantly changing environment - Ability to carry up to 15 pounds of mail, supplies, etc.
