Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides nursing assistance in the department's outpatient clinics. Responsibilities include: prepares patients for examinations and assists physicians during exams; administers medications; obtains blood samples; instructs patient in treatment plan; schedules and coordinates appointments; instructs and assists patient in use of contraceptive methods; responsible for the preparation, maintenance and assembly of special diagnostic equipment; sterilization of instruments and supplies; responsible for monitoring and ordering supplies; assists with obtaining and organizing records ensuring lab results, X-ray, previous/prior history and surgical reports are filed. Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills necessary to effectively and professionally interact with physicians, staff and patients. Clients served are adolescent, adult, and geriatric women.

Salary: Hourly $26.05 - $28.75 Total Hours: 8-5, M-F Career Position. Current Licensed Vocational Nurse issued by the State of California Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners.
