This position is to support the evaluation and admission of students applying to Northern Kentucky University, College of Health Professions, as well as the administrative support needs associated with entering new online course schedules, tracking documentation associated with faculty new hire packets, and executing program assessments. The academic programs necessitating this hire are associated dominantly with the accelerated online programs, which are experiencing dramatic growth. There is a need to scale the college infrastructure to meet the academic demands accompanying this growth.
This position is a vital component to making the College of Health Professions (CHP) operate efficiently and effectively.
Primary Responsibilities :
1Admissions Processing for various programs in CHP
Maintain departmental tracking spreadsheets in Excel (on shared K Drive) to determine number of applicants, progress in admission process, status of admission and compliance to departmental admission requirements. Close attention to detail, organizational skills, time management, confidentiality and the ability to prioritize are essential.
Work closely with admissions team to assure all applications are processed in a timely manner and changes in admission procedures are clearly communicated.
Communicate with students, faculty, advising and the Office of Graduate Education on a regular basis via email and telephone calls.
2Administrative Support for Online Course Scheduling, New Hire Documentation, and Program Assessments
Assist in the entering and maintenance of the Online Course Schedules.
Assist in the tracking of New Hire Documentation, Credentialing Materials, etc. and communicate with New Hires, using templates/professional messages.
Create and maintain Faculty Folders for New Hires.
Coordinate and track orders for student badges, dosimeters, and other needs of the college.
For Program Evaluation and Assessment, assist with survey uploads, distribution, and reporting. (e.g. Student, Clinical Partner, Alumni, Faculty, Staff, Employer, and other surveys.)
Support other responsibilities, as needed.
High school and 2 years of experience required.
Computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Require good time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to change quickly. Also, require good data skills, keen attention to detail, and very high accuracy rate.
