The Customer Relations Specialist will provide prompt, sensitive, and professional responses to patients and families regarding complaints or grievances. This position will also collaborate and serve as a liaison between patients, families, and/or surrogates and UK HealthCare staff and departments; will research and document obstacles to the delivery of service to proactively work on developing solutions; and adhere to UK Healthcare Behavioral Standards at all times.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service; superior communications abilities with an emphasis on patient care, diplomacy, and sensitivity; and a strong background in utilitzing Microsoft systems including Windows, Word, and Excel.

Required Related Experience:
Required License/Registration/Certification :
A Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field and three or more years of paid employment experience in a similar position preferred.
