Provides technical consultation, manages support, and project management in the design and development of new technologies for UC Health System voice and data system services. Ensures that network designs and topologies are fully compatible with existing networks and also with Health System wide plans for developing future switched voice and networking technologies. Develops and designs suitable integrated cable distribution schemes for data, voice and wireless facilities based on client requirements. Manages and oversees the proper system programming, maintenance and utilization of Information technology software and supporting systems. Explores new technology and its potential impact on the enterprise for the future.
Applies advanced professional communications concepts, industry practices and relevant policies, procedures and objectives to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Determines methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Five or more years of relevant experience - Enterprise Telecommunications Systems including Cisco, PCCE, Mitel MXOne.
Advanced knowledge of professional communications and network systems in the completion of diverse assignments.
Professional experience, and proven success, managing communication and network systems.
Cisco Certifications CCNA/Collab
Understanding of Jitter, Delay, Echo, gaps and how to troubleshoot these occurrences.
Experience in a healthcare environment.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
