The Department of Psychology is seeking a qualified candidate for the Research Assistant position.
The incumbent will be expected to collect and gather research data for the Girls Interactions In Real Life Study of Brain Development (GIRLS: Brain Development) and other ongoing research studies in the Families, Emotions, Neuroscience and Development Laboratory involving depressed and anxious children, adolescents and their parents.
- Accurately conducting study assessments involving the collection of fMRI and pupil/eye tracking data according to study protocol
- Assisting in the management, processing, and analysis of the research assessments
- Assisting the Lab Manager with scheduling study follow-up visits and preparation of research materials
- Assisting Principal Investigator in reference management, preparation of manuscripts, research reports and documents, and tracking study materials
- Maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate families in the research study, including frequent evening and weekend availability

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in psychology, neuroscience, sociology or related research field. Familiarity with computers and common software packages required. Working knowledge of research methodology strongly preferred. Minimum of one year of work experience in a research project and/or related clinical setting is required.
