This is a full time position that will carry the rank of Assistant Professor on the department's AcademicTrack.
Clinical practice of general dermatology and fellowship trained in Dermatopathology. Opportunities to participate in research, both within the department and Medical School and with colleagues from other university colleges and other educational/research institutions. Opportunities for participation in faculty development activities and to develop and implement new curricular elements for dermatology programs in general dermatology and/or sub-specialty topics in dermatology. Administrative and committee assignments as appropriate. Teaching and precepting of medical students, residents and fellows in the clinic and hospital.
Required: M.D., completion of Dermatology residency and Dermatopathology Fellowship, board certified or eligible in Dermatology.
Research experience in dermatology topics including clinical research, education, medical dermatology, dermatoepidemiology, or other areas related to dermatological practice and education. Demonstrated excellence in the medical practice of dermatology. Previous experience with clinical and/or didactic teaching of medical students, residents and/or fellows. Experience with the development, implementation and evaluation of medical curricula.
