Position Summary: The Critical Care/Trauma Staff Development Professional is responsible for the design and implementation of education programs and professional development of nurses in their assigned nursing service; focused on clinical outcomes and practice development. This position will be responsible to provide education for both adult and pediatric patients. Will work closely with department managers and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) on the educational needs assessment and orientation programs for staff, in the assigned nursing division. Ensures that competencies and skills are current and relevant for the nursing staff
Rate Minimum $88,300.00 Maximum $159,000.00
Required Qualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemBachelor of Science in NursingBasic Life SupportComputer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Products, including Word & OutlookDemonstrated nursing experience in an acute care settingDemonstrated teaching/education/in-service skills with the ability to lead effectivelyKnowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission RequirementsMinimum of two years Pediatric ICU or Pediatric Trauma experienceMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust possess PALS certification within 6 months of hireRegistered Nurse
