The Department of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks well-qualified lecturers for graduate and/or undergraduate courses for upcoming terms, including Summer and FalI 2019. An appropriate terminal degree or doctorate in a related field is required for teaching most graduate courses; a Master’s degree may be acceptable for teaching undergraduate courses, provided the applicant has at least 18 hours of graduate coursework In Mathematics or 18 hours of graduate coursework in Statistics. Preference will be given to candidates presenting the doctoral degree. College teaching in an institution similar to UT Dallas is preferred.
The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics engages faculty to teach primarily at the main campus , although some courses may be taught at other locations throughout the Metroplex. Courses are offered between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and may include lecture , laboratory, seminar, and distance education formats, among others. Appointments carry no guarantee or expectation of renewal or tenure.

PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related academic discipline, with success in teaching large mathematics/statistics classes at an institution similar to UT Dallas.
