Classroom Tech Liaison & Application Support SpecialistUnder general supervision of the OIT Classroom Technologies Planning & Outreach Manager, the candidate will support and promote the effective use of instructional technology, especially in active learning classrooms. The incumbent will act as a liaison between OIT, OVPTL, and the higher education community to consult with, train, and support faculty utilizing active learning and other instructional trends. The candidate will perform outreach including data collection, information sharing, consultation, training, and collaborative workshops and presentations; will evaluate and consult on learning space designs and technology installations; and will help develop new technology implementation strategies. The prospect will also serve as an application support lead for audience response technologies, and backup support for other applications such as lecture capture; involving vendor relations, hardware and software support, troubleshooting, and client-facing documentation of processes and guidelines.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
