Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Position open for a Genomics Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School to join an exciting research lab investigating immunological tolerance, in relation with autoimmune disease and cancer. The Research Assistant will belong to a team analyzing gene expression and its regulation in cells of the immune system, using several cutting edge tools in genomics and epigenomics, in particular single-cell RNAseq. Will also work in the context of ImmGen, an international research consortium charting the landscape of gene expression in the immune system. Will participate in computational data analysis, in relation with bioinformaticians or immunologists in the labor in collaborating institutions in Boston. Will also participate generally in the lab's operation and management of equipment and supplies. We are looking for a team player, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, who will work closely with several other research scientists inside and outside the lab, learning from advanced investigators and also helping to train students and collaborators.

College background or equivalent work experience, and familiarity with standard computer usage. At least one year related work experience in molecular biology or genomics (relevant laboratory coursework may count towards experience).
