Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Position open for an Immunology Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School to join research on immunological tolerance, in relation with autoimmune disease and cancer. The Research Assistant will join an exciting and collaborative team analyzing immune cell differentiation, tolerance to self, and interactions with the microbiome. This research specifically involves several cutting-edge tools in immunology (advanced flow cytometry, tissue culture, and mAbs, cytokine assays, microbial analysis) and genomics. Our projects involve close collaborations with clinicians, for the analysis of patient immune cells in cancer and autoimmune diseases. Will partake in some multi-center projects to which the lab is connected, such as the Human Cell Atlas. Will also participate in lab meetings, publications, and generally in the lab's operation and management of equipment and supplies. We are looking for a team player, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and ideally a few years' experiences in Immunology research.

College background or equivalent work experience, and familiarity with standard computer usage. At least one year related work experience in molecular biology or genomics (relevant laboratory coursework may count towards experience).
BA/BS degree preferred. Experience in immunology or genomics research would be a plus, as would experience in computer sciences (computational biology, software development).
