Reporting to the Director of Event Management, the Senior Accounts Specialist provides senior level support in the Office of Event Management and Conference Services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: compiling information that is relative to each work order/event; submitting work order requirements for different events, including the most optimal time in which it can or should be done; tracking the disposition of work orders ensuring they are closed out as appropriate; comparing in house furniture availability with daily usage requirements; assisting with determining which scheduled events require assistance from Plant department personnel such as custodians, electricians, carpenters, grounds, etc.; serve as liaison to rental companies when in-house inventory cannot sustain current needs, or when furniture/equipment requested is not part of in-house inventory; maintain and track in-house inventory; find/locate potential suppliers and obtain cost estimates as needed; implement purchase requests to replenish, replace and add to present inventory; itemize and maintain office resources; prepare and process orders to purchase additional supplies; prepare lists for budget and accounting to assist with fund transfers; provide practical assistance to office personnel as needed; respond to clients' correspondence and inquiries; prepare and process orders to purchase additional supplies. May perform other duties not specifically identified above, but which require the same degree of skill and which are normally included within the above job title.
Work schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
