Reporting to the Center'sDirector and working with the finance faculty, the Program Coordinator willsupport the Financial Market Research Center in its efforts to produce researchrelated to financial markets and to promote engagement between academics andindustry experts in that field. The Program Coordinator will often be the firstpoint of contact for the FMRC through in-person greetings, phone, email, andother means. They will actively work with the center's Director to carry outdaily operations, project management, and program evaluation. The Program Coordinatorwill work with faculty, staff, and administrators across the Vanderbiltcommunity.

Key Functions andExpected Performance
Developed projectmanagement by utilizing proficient multitasking skills to manage multipleongoing projects in order to ensure successful project progression for theFinancial Market Research Center.
Support the Financefaculty that work closely with the FMRC to coordinate all pertinent details ofevents, travel, annual conferences and seminar series related to visits for allguest speakers to properly align with the vision for the FMRC and theirresearch.
Provide distinguishedsupport for the FMRC's visiting speakers, including but not limited to travelcoordination, scheduling, and reimbursement to ensure the visitors have apositive experience during the entire visiting process.
Organized management ofthe daily and weekly office tasks to promote notable collaboration with thefaculty to further the advancement of research housed in the Financial MarketsResearch Center.
Exhibit excellentwriting, communication, and interpersonal skills when working directly withVanderbilt Faculty and Staff, as well as outside guests, including candidates.
Work alongside theDirector of FMRC to produce annual activity reporting for Office of Stewardship
Designated point ofcontact for managing FMRC's social media presence and managing the center'swebsite to properly align with the vision of the Owen Graduate School ofManagement.

Experience and Skills
At least 3 years ofrelevant experience is preferred
Extremely well organizedwith the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills,flexible, collaborative and able to interact fluidly with the many differentindividuals - both Vanderbilt faculty and outside guests, including candidatesand visiting speakers.
Positive, energetic andhave a motivated entrepreneurial attitude
Service-oriented;experience working in a higher education or academic setting preferred
Proficient in Windows andMac OSX, Windows Office. Experience with WordPress preferred.
Capacityto work with flexibility on several tasks simultaneously and to meet variousconcurrent deadlines is preferred.
Abilityto develop and maintain strong, positive customer and peer relationships ispreferred.
Attentionto detail and high level of accuracy is preferred.
