Executive Assistant, Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement
The Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement works with senior leadership, faculty and administrators across Georgetown's schools to develop new international programs and partnerships, to manage university-wide global initiatives, and to support the international dimension of teaching, research, and outreach activities across the university. The office also maintains the Global Georgetown website. This is a one-year, renewable, term appointment.
The Executive Assistant supports the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement with correspondence and calendar management, event planning and logistics, document preparation, and other administrative tasks. The position reports directly to the Vice President for Global Engagement and involves collaborative interaction with staff and faculty and oversight of student assistants. Duties include but are not limited to:
Conducts email correspondence and manages calendars for the Vice President for Global Engagement.
Supports the preparation and execution of events, often in collaboration with colleagues across the university. This entails working with vendors, booking event attendees' travel, and coordinating logistics.
Writing and editing of reports and other documentation.
Administrative support tasks.
