Provides general business support to a business services office in accordance with standard procedures. Prepares and processes a variety of university business documents.Job Duties
Prepares business documents in accordance with university and departmental standards. Business documents may include, but are not limited to, purchase vouchers, requisitions, travel reimbursements, personnel actions, timesheets, or cash deposits.
Maintains department business spreadsheets or databases, and updates or modifies records as needed.
Prepares recurring financial or personnel reports for management.
Orders and receives supplies; maintains supply inventory.
May coordinates departmental travel activities in accordance with university and departmental standards.
Responds to routine questions and issues regarding business procedures; refers more complex questions to appropriate administrator or department and follows up to ensure resolution.
Assists with special projects as assigned.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
High school and 1 year experience
Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
