Provides technical, data entry, and analytical support for reporting and processing faculty appointments within the Academic and Faculty Affairs Division.
Reviews, reconciles and processes faculty personnel documentation and maintains position transactions; including faculty job postings, and request for offers (RFO) for faculty appointments in the applicant tracking system.
Provides guidance to hiring departments to facilitate preparation and distribution of faculty job postings and approval of faculty employment advertisements.
Interfaces directly with college and academic unit personnel regarding appointment specifics.
Develops internal processes to enhance programming and reporting efficiency.
Serves as liaison with Budget, Payroll, and Human Resources representatives to monitor, report, and coordinate appropriate employment record aspects including position information, leave data, and other programmatic functions.
Screens all faculty appointments to ensure appropriate credentials are received in Faculty Affairs.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
