Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted, and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.
Accurately and efficiently processes cash register and e-commerce transactions
Answers and directs telephone calls and emails
Assists customers with merchandise location and selection
Assists in other departments within the store as needed including stocking merchandise, sales floor maintenance and displays, and processing price changes
Processes refunds and exchanges in accordance with store policies
Participates in the physical inventory process and assists with related data entry
Will have extensive contact with customers and co-workers through in-person, written, and verbal communication
Assists customers and processes transactions at retail locations and athletic events as needed
This position will be scheduled anywhere from 1-20 hours per week with the exception of peak periods which can include hours up to 40 per week.
High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year of experience in related retail position
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and reach merchandise on low or high shelves
Salary: $7.25 - $8.25/hr.
