The successful candidate will -Culture human fibroblast -handle and inject transgenic mice, remove and dissect the brain regions -genotype, isolate RNA, submit RNA for RNAseq experiments, and perform qPCR -prepare samples for neurochemistry -Perform mouse behavioral assessments under various conditions -Analyze/integrate the data and write first draft of the manuscripts
MD degree and/or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, laboratory science or neuroscience. Good interpersonal, writing an computer skills are critical. Experience with human dermal fibroblast culturing and in-depth working experience with Dhcr7 mutations is strongly preferred.
