The Instructor NT is a non-tenure track position with responsibilities to teach full-time and to provide appropriate service. The Instructor NT may participate in research or creative activities.
Description of Primary Duties:
Successful candidate will teach in two or more of the following areas: Basic Business Statistics, Applied Business Statistics, Statistical Methods, Quantitative Methods, and Information Technology. Provide service to the Department of Information Technology, College of Business, Missouri State University, and the local/regional community and the profession.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
An earned terminal degree or the degree required for teaching in certain disciplines is required. Potential or demonstrated teaching ability is required. A willingness to serve the academic unit, college, and the University is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
Successful candidate must have a Masters degree in Business administration, statistics, or a related field with quantitative emphasis. Demonstrated college teaching experience and experience with college students and student organizations is needed. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
