Summary of Duties:
The interdisciplinary lab of Dr. Peixuan Guo at the Ohio State University seeks Postdoctoral Researchers experience in either molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, cell biology, animal trial, protein/RNA structural computation, RNA nanotechnology, single pore sensing, single pore DNA sequencing, biomotor structure and function, viral DNA packaging, or nucleic acids chemistry. The goal is to transform basic science research in RNA nanotechnology and vial DNA packaging motor through innovative approaches to disease treatment and diagnostics, creating the next generation scientific workforce. A doctoral degree in life sciences such as; biology, microbiology, molecular biology, virology, chemistry or biochemistry; strong oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills and attention to detail are a must. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are preferred.
