The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
Clinical leadership, assessment and collaborative management of inpatient surgical patients. Includes: interpretation of diagnostic tests, performance of therapeutic procedures, quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities.
Coordinating timely discharge planning, consultations and participating in patient/family education in collaboration with the healthcare team.
To qualify, you must have:
A Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
MA licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
1-3 years of current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience.
ICU or inpatient surgical experience preferred.
Flexibility in schedule required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills and computer skills required.
