Northwestern University is seeking a Temporary Core Technologist for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
Under direct supervision of Director of the Northwestern Proteomics Core, the research technologist is required to carry out basic research activities in chemistry and translational sciences. The technologist will be trained to perform, in specific, proteomics sample preparation, reagent preparation, SDS-PAGE gels, and data analysis from various sample types to support proteomics core projects. Meticulous record keeping of client samples, interaction with clients, and inventory/ordering tasks will also be necessary. The technologist will also assist in routine equipment maintenance and other tasks as required. Upon satisfactory performance, a full time employment opportunity will be offered.
