The individual in this position is one of two staff who provide essential in-depth technology support and education services to students, faculty, and staff in the Libraries’ Learning Commons, one of the most intensively used computing environments on campus. In addition to helping individuals with routine technology problems, Learning Commons staff escalate more complex problems to this position for resolution.
This position also provides in-depth support of multimedia production needs, supporting students, faculty and staff in the creation of multimedia projects and advising Libraries management on the selection and maintenance of relevant equipment and software.
This individual also trains Learning Commons librarians, staff and student employees in the use of all forms of technology supported by the Learning Commons, ensuring high quality service to all clientele.
