Coordinates with Conference Managers and Specialists operational aspects of PAC conference activities such as travel and lodging arrangements, food service, facilities and conference set-up. Acts as host and interacts with clients to determine needs or resolves problems when needed. Supports webinar software such as Zoom, prepares and submits conference/department invoices thru EBS, orders supplies and equipment and takes meeting minutes for SCS Committee and Governing Board meetings.
A valid vehicle operator's license is needed to perform duties of the position. This position requires knowledge of basic personal computer terminology and operations, and the ability to use e-mail, Zoom and the Internet.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years of college, technical or vocational school in business; six months to one year of progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in conference operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
