The digital data analyst supports the goals of OHSU through OHSU\u2019s organizational marketing and communications plan.
The analyst will report directly to the Associate Director of Digital Engagement and work with the markting, creative, brand, social media and other teams. The primary role will be optimizing, tracking and measuring digital performance including paid search, organic and local search, display and other digital channels.
It is also the responsibility of the analyst to represent the Digital Engagement team of Marketing in a positive and proactive manner to a variety of internal OHSU customer groups.
The varied duties of this position include:
Optimize, track and measure digital campaign performance
Create analytics reports to help inform marketing strategy
Collaborate with the CRM analyst to report against user and business goals
Work with marketing team to understand their business goals and needs
Track the digital marketing funnel to determine channel and campaign sources of our most valuable and digitally engaged customers (patients, referring providers, students, researchers, etc.)
Work closely with strategic partners to evolve our analytics approach
This person will also proactively engage with OHSU\u2019s community of marketers across many channels including paid, search (organic and local), social, email and others to integrate data analysis and reporting across multiple teams and channels.
This person will need a high degree of personal initiative and ability to make informed decisions (often without guidance from a supervisor or manager), and be patient and be willing to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment.
Data and Business Analysis Leverage analytical skills combined with a strong ability to engage organizational stakeholders and understand their business goals. Manage the analysis of digital marketing campaigns including organic and local search, paid search, display, social media performance across desktop and mobile platforms that support user and business goals.
Asset Optimization Optimize content assets across multiple channels and strive to leverage opportunities available to make our content more discoverable.
Data Reporting Develop and execute monthly and quarterly reports for marketing manager-level and executive-level audiences that capture digital marketing performance (where we\u2019ve been) as well as opportunities for growth (where we want to go).
Professional Development Regularly participate in educational and informative activities to stay current with trends in content development, governance and strategy for digital marketing and engagement.
