PROGRAM ASSISTANT II , Lemelson/MIT Program (LMIT) , to provide support for prize programs, data coordination, and community engagement along with performing general administrative duties. Responsibilities include conducting research on potential Student Prize applicants and compiling and present resenting results to colleagues; assisting in planning and executing meetings; assisting with coordinating data in prize application on-line system; providing first-line administration of the Salesforce database, including basic structural improvements and new functionality, creating reports and dashboards, coordinating with data contractor to execute integrations and data uploads, providing staff training, and creating monthly and ad hoc reviews of LMIT web download activity; conducting routine on-line research on key stakeholders; compiling and presenting research results internally and maintaining tracking records; assisting with outreach efforts via mailings and telephone calls; creating monthly report on InvenTeam and other invention education community activities and media hits; providing front desk backup and general office support as needed; and assisting with coordinating logistics for events.

REQUIRED : three years' related program and administrative experience ; h igh school education; strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, customer service, and time-management skills; flexibility; full working knowledge of general office practices and procedures; meticulous attention to detail; good judgment with confidential information ; proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Docs, Dropbox, and web searches; and ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, function under pressure of deadlines, and work independently and as part of a team.
