Franklin Pierce University invites applications for the position of Director of Career Services/Experiential Learning.

Provide guidance and counseling for students as they prepare for their next steps after graduation,
Serve as the primary resource in leading an experiential learning initiative,
Provide career advising to students,
Plan and present workshops and programs,
Collaborate with other student-centered departments to create an environment of support and guidance for students,
Cultivate relationships with external business and community partners, alumni and parents to enhance learning opportunities for students.
Reporting to the Vice President for University Advancement, the Director has oversight of the Center's functions and provides supervision and guidance to the Assistant Director. Creating and implementing outcomes-based assessments through data collection and analysis is essential to this role. Through open communication and leadership, the Director serves as the point person for faculty, students and Academic offices for internship registrations.
Experience and Qualifications:
The Director will have:
A minimum of five years of relevant and progressive administrative experience,
A Master's degree for Higher Education Administration, or related field - or a combination of education and experience,
Must possess strong interpersonal qualities, communication, and leadership skills, along with a broad-based knowledge of higher education administration,
Strong organizational skills are a must.
